The Wild Orchard Fabric company sells sewing kits to give you everything that you need to make a garment at home. Founder, Lottie Lee-Gough, says they are “amazing for getting going on your next (or first!) sewing project”.

The kits contain everything you need to head straight to the sewing machine and have a beautiful piece of clothing in no time. All the fabric is of the highest quality and made from natural fibres, this is because Lottie is passionate about moving away from fast fashion and championing environmentally friendly clothes.

“I believe that learning to sew our clothes is not only a pleasure for ourselves but an altruistic act that allows us to live more harmoniously with the world around us,” explains Lottie.

She also sells fabric by the metre if you are a more experienced sewer and looking for sustainable fabrics to create your next project with.

All Lottie’s fabrics are natural blends that she sources personally from around the world including Japanese denim, Italian linen and bamboo knits: “It is unlike anything you can find on the High Street for the same price.”

If you’re not quite sure what material will work best, or if you’d like to chat your ideas through with Lottie she’s happy to give advice.
