Aldgate in Winter Festival

Aldgate in Winter Festival is coming back this December for another edition of community creative workshops, outdoor winter market, lantern parade, performances, a community exhibition and more.

On Friday 3 December, you are invited to watch local schools weave through the streets of Aldgate in a lantern parade, which will culminate at the winter market on Petticoat Lane. Performances and activities from across the area will accompany the eclectic range of stalls, whilst local restaurants will be part of the festive feast.

Visit our Lady Lane Market traders SuAura Essentials, East London Stitched, Nita’s Designs, East London Wax, Well Gifted, and Roses and Cushions on the opening day for your Christmas shopping list goodies.

Following the main event day, there will be a two week exhibition illuminating Aldgate’s streets and windows in a vibrant community-created display.
